Oh my gosh 💛 sending you the deepest gratitude for this writing. I read it sitting on my porch listening to the chickadees and looking at the peeling bark of the paper birch and…man for the first time in a long time I felt connected again. Thank you.
What a wonderful synchronicity! I put pocket-sized oracle cards in my planner, and this week's card is Nettle. I was thinking last night about its message, and you gave me an excellent new perspective. Thank you.
I love the idea of using oracle cards with a planner! Stealing this hah. But yes, it's interesting, I find certain plants show up at particular times for many people at once. I've seen this with self heal, yarrow, etc. just be nettles turn!
Definitely my favorite post of the year! Your insights enthrall me, and the woodcuts are simply stunning. Happy new year to you and your family, Val! Love from central NYS.
Thank you for this. Your remarks about woodcuts and nettles were so profound and really made me think about the lessons in surrender that have been coming up for me in the last few years.
This is so very beautiful, friend. And I love seeing your prints!!
Thank you!! 💜

“What I learned this year is that it actually hurts less when you let pain in.” This is so important and beautifully said 💛✨
