Love this Val. I read that book a long time ago and it spoke to me as well...I agree with you about all you wrote. There is so much potency and magic in the "small" things - that's why I left all I left to become a farmer and to stay out in the country far from the "madding crowd" and help people see how important it is to get one's hands dirty, understand where their food comes from, get some soil under their fingernails, and learn about the process...after all, they are made of the food they eat. Sometimes people don't understand that...as amazing as that sounds. Also wanted to say that I LOVE the planner!! Glad I got it. Thanks for making it. EWA :-)
It is shocking to see the disconnect between people and food. Sometimes I think healing this relationship between people, plants and soil would solve nearly all of society's current problems. Thank you for doing what you do and being a part of that awakening my friend! Ah, and so glad you got the planner, I hope you enjoy it next year! XOXO
