The first 2 paragraphs say so much about endings/dying, from the actual end of our life , to an end of a relationship, end of our youth, etc., not just the transition from Summer to Autumn. Put so lovely.
Funny how that had not even occurred to me! But you are so right Karen, thank you. Interesting how we are always reflecting the natural world and vice versa.
Ah Val I love it! I keep a very sporadic herbarium sketchbook. My energy for it starts in spring but usually ends by summer 😂 as u get distracted. I would love to do it more, and your style is so unique it's a pleasure to see your pages. Jo x
Hi Jo, thanks for the feedback! I actually love that you have a seasonal rhythm to your sketchbook. I've been noticing how my own inspiration and creative interests shift throughout the year as well. No shame in that!

I love the sketch journals but also love your eloquent writing that takes me deeper into the nature of things.
Thank you! I will probably do a combination of both :)
I love the sketches & journaling... please continue
Those are beautiful sketches. I've started a sketch book but haven't kept up with it. Perhaps I'll pick it up again. Thank you for the inspiration.
Yes Sandy! I'm so happy to hear that, I hope you do give it another look. I'll keep working on this as well, thank you for the feedback :)
Yes! Your sketches are delightful ❤️
