Tomorrow marks another turn in the wheel; the summer cross-quarter. If you follow the Gaelic tradition you may call it Lughnasadh. In traditional Polish culture we call it Matki Boskiej Zielnej, referring to the day of the divine mother of herbs (in modern times, it is celebrated on August 15, coinciding with the assumption of Mary. But it is likely that it originally fell on a day closer to the cross-quarter prior to Christianity).
Hi Jamie, so glad you enjoyed! The reins are actually an old word referring to the kidneys, but in the zodiac body can also refer to lower back and bladder as well. This basically encompasses the endocrine and urinary systems.
Thanks so much. I love how deeply you’ve researched. I found the examples you provided to be very helpful. It drew me in and made me excited and curious about astroherbology. Yesterday, I was in a chat and we were talking about how the moon affects so much in regard to growing and harvesting and I wanted to know more and *poof*, I went to check my email and there you were, exactly answering my questions. I also was thinking of you because I’m running low on some of your products. Then, *poof*, you were there. Thank so so much for all you do. It is appreciated.
P.S. I can’t wait for Lunica! It looks amazing. 💚💚💚
Hi Jamie, I love the synchronicity! I've been fascinated by humans' centuries old relationship with growing and harvesting by the moon, as well as its affects on psyche that we know as astrology in modern times. Digging deeper into astroherbology felt like the final link to connect land, spirit and now finally body! It all seems to fall into place the deeper we go. Thank you for the kind words and for sharing your thoughts. I hope you love the Summer of Love Box and bitters! So excited to share more of the Lunica Planner as well :) take care!
Vow renewal sounds like a nourishing confirmation. In many ways I find myself being met with the invitation to renew my devotions regularly. I imagine these moments helping me to ROOT into my desires and my commitments, building trust and resilience.
I love this! I can’t wait to read your other posts. Thanks so much!
P.S. In the picture on the left, under Libra, the body part listed says Reins. Is this correct or was it Veins maybe? My apologies if I’m in error.
